LECTURER in the field of "QUANTITATIVE METHODS"
Your tasks include:
? Conception, teaching and evaluation of mathematics, statistics and data science courses.
? Contributing to the continuous development of our curriculum and teaching approaches.
? Supervising and coaching students.
Qualifications:
? Completed university degree in mathematics, physics, computer science, engineering or a related field with a strong mathematical background
? Teaching experience, demonstrated through a university-level teaching assignment, course evaluations or similar
? Fluent in English (knowledge of German is a plus)
? Good programming skills in R or Python
The employment is limited until 31 August 2026 and is carried out with 50% of the regular teaching obligation according to the Lower Saxony Teaching Obligation Ordinance (currently 10 LVS). Payment is according to German payment scale 13 TV-L. Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences reserves the right to conduct the selection interviews in person or online.
